P0348: Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit High Input (Bank 2)
Severity: High A position-signal fault can cause stalling or failure to restart. Avoid normal use until diagnosed; arrange towing if the engine stalls, runs severely rough, or will not start reliably.
What does P0348 mean?
The bank 2 camshaft A input is electrically too high. A lost return path or signal short to voltage can make the computer see a constant high level instead of the expected pulses.
Generic OBD-II definition: Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit High Input (Bank 2). Confirm applicability in your vehicle service information.
Common causes
- Open sensor ground
- Signal shorted to reference or other power
- Failed bank 2 cam sensor
Symptoms

Diagnostic focus
Do not confuse the bank 2 A sensor with the B sensor or the VVT actuator. The connector pinout and waveform test must match the sensor named by this code.
